The Person behind the Pages
Writer. Mum. Dog Lover. Dreamer. Storyteller.
Every story begins somewhere. Here's a glimpse into the people, passions and moments that inspire mine.

Writer
I've always been fascinated by language, stories, and the power of words to shape the way we see the world. That passion led me to Newcastle University, where I studied Linguistics, before completing my PGCE and pursuing a career in teaching.
For me, writing is more than a passion- it's self-prescribed therapy. Reading is like breathing in; writing is breathing out. It allows me to explore the questions that have always intrigued me; the 'what ifs', the roads not taken, and the choices that shape our lives.
Inspiration can come from anywhere, from a scientific theory to a passing conversation, but I am drawn to stories that challenge us to see the world a little differently. Through my writing, I hope to create thought-provoking stories that stay with readers long after the final page.
Mum
Wife, Mum & My Greatest Adventure.
Before I was a writer, I was a wife and a mum.
Life in our house is wonderfully chaotic, filled with school runs, muddy footprints, endless snacks, and three incredible boys who keep me on my toes.
They are my greatest inspiration and my daily reminder that the most meaningful stories are often found in the ordinary moments.
Family is at the heart of everything I do, and while writing may be my passion, they will always be my favourite adventure.
Home
Home is Northumberland, where I live with my family and our Springer Spaniel, Charlie.
When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me out walking the dog through the countryside or along the coast, getting my hands dirty in the garden, or escaping into the pages of a good book.
These simple moments are some of my favourites and provide the perfect opportunity to slow down, recharge, and let new story ideas take root.
